Paris

We started Paris on Hannah's birthday in the train station...actually it was midnight when we were waiting in Milan railway station in Italy  for our connection to Paris.
It was an overnight train that had the most uncomfortable beds.
We got off the train and caught the metro to Lamarck station then had  10 minutes walk (with our luggage) to our apartment.
We had Hannah's birthday dinner on the Eiffel tower. The food was delicious, or as the French say, magnifique! I will put a photo of the menu.

The next day we walked to the Sacre Couer which means sacred heart (it was a big church).

One day we climbed up the arc de Triomphe, I counted 300 stairs to the top! After the arc De Triomphe we walked down the Champs Elysees to the gardens were we had lunch. After lunch we walked to the best café in the world, Angelina's, suggested by my grannie. I had a hot chocolate and the most amazing eclair. The next day we went to a massive big Flea Market (second hand stuff).

On Monday we went to the Louvre, which is a huge famous art gallery. In my opinion there were too many naked statues in the louvre and I didn't think much of the Mona Lisa - it was so small. On Tuesday we went on a tour to an amazing Palace. Afterwards we went to a beautiful shopping mall, where we didn't buy anything because it was too expensive! On Wednesday we visited the church Notre Dame, then we went to the Luxembourg gardens to have lunch and paid €3.50 to go in the playground ( it had the best flying fox)!

On the 23rd of October it was my dad's birthday. We caught the metro to the science museum but when we saw the massive queue we went to the park instead! I had a lonely ride on one of those flying chair things and Hannah went on a carousel. After we went on a river cruise down a canal (my mum and dad love boats). We went back home had one of his favorites for dinner, roast duck, roasted potatoes and salad, for dessert we had some French pastries and ice cream with mars bar sauce! Heading to Singapore tomorrow for 3 days then heading home, hopefully in time for the fete!

Au revoir!

Roma

We took the fast train to Roma, ready to be amazed at the capital of Italy...

Ba bum!

After walking from the train station in the 30 degree heat, arriving at our apartment, climbing 124 stairs to get in it...
We didn't really want to go anywhere!!

In my opinion I didn't really like Roma, it was very dirty and smelly!
On the hop on hop off bus we went to the Collosseum, that was pretty amazing. At the Vatican city we waited in a very long line to get in to the st Peter's Basilica, where the pope lives (we didn't see him).
We had dinner out at a pizza place, and the next night we went to a seafood restaurant, so good!
Mum and Dad bought some nice Italian leather shoes, fancy smancy!!!

The MSC cruise

We took a ferry to the cruise terminal ready to have a luxurious week on an MSC cruise. We entered the door of the cruise with our mouths wide open, it was so cool inside. Crystal staircases about 6 pools, so many spas, waterslides, restaurants and buffets and all amazing things to do. Our cabin had a balcony and only 2 beds, so of course I was stuck with my sister. But all was good when we headed out for dinner. They had a special theme every night, it went, casual, gala, Italian colours, 60's 70's and 80's, white, gala, casual. Every night they had a show, we went to 5 out of the 7 nights. They were spectacular, there was one about the bad queen, Pandora from avatar, Wonderland and one about the witches of Paris which had the can can dance in it.
We stopped in Istanbul in turkey. We had a tour guide who walked us around Istanbul. I went into the blue mosque.I didn't really like turkey because it was very busy, noisy and everyone was trying to sell you stuff. Someone was trying to sell guns on the street!
I was so happy when we finally got back on board to the lovely cruise ship!
Check out the cruise ship we went on!

We drove from Lake Garda to Venice, where we dropped off the car and hopped onto the vappereto. I left my iPod in the car, woops :\ !We pick it up in a week after the cruise. Anyway,  we stayed in a small apartment near the water. It is 30 minutes walk to the Rialto bridge. On the first day we went out for lunch, I had yummy pizza. The weirdest thing was that they charge you for customer service €4 each person! We went on a gondala ride though the Grand canal. It was so cool!! One morning we went to the fish market where they sold lots and lots of fish, it stunk. After Venice we go on a Cruise for 7 nights.

Lake Garda

We stayed in an apartment at a beautiful village called Peschiere at the southern end of lake Garda. One day we took a ferry to sirmione which had a castle and lovely view over the lake.
On Monday the 29th of sept it was my BIRTHDAY!!! From mum and dad  I got some new shorts and some money and went to a really cool safari park. For dinner we went to a fancy Italian restaurant called La Plume. The food was really nice and the staff made a 3 different type of chocolate cake with strawberries and cream! It was so good.
The next day I went swimming in The lake, because of all the swans it made me stink of kaka (poo). Tommorow we dive to Venice.

Monte-del-lago

We stayed at an amazing place with a view of Lake Trasimeno. It had a massive pool, and big rooms. It only rained once. On one day we went to Perugia for a look around.  At Gubbio we went on a chair lift up the mountain. The chair lift was like a basket you had to stand up in. It went fast and was very difficult to get on! I had a great gelato, cookies "n" cream, mmmmm.

Tuscany

On the way to Tuscany we visited Pisa. Yes we saw the amazing leaning tower of Pisa.
In tuscany we stayed at an amazing villa overlooking the olive trees. It had a nice pool to cool down in at the end of the day. We visited some beautiful medieval towns like Siena, San Giminagno, Volterra and Florence. Florence was my favorite because the city was amazing and it had lovely views. We climbed all the way to the top of the cathedral duomo.
We met some people from Canada and from Germany, now we have plans to do America!
I dropped my iPod and cracked the screen, still works, phewww!
